Terms & conditions.
Last updated: June 7, 2026
These terms govern your use of Mobile Charge Pro and our website at mobilechargepro.com. By booking a service or using our site, you agree to them. If anything is unclear, call us at (626) 344-4084 before you book.
1. Who we are
Mobile Charge Pro is a 24/7 mobile electric vehicle (EV) charging service based in Pasadena, CA. We dispatch a service truck to your location to deliver enough charge to safely reach a nearby charging station.
2. The service we provide
Our service is single-truck and owner-operated. We bring portable EV charging equipment to your location. We do not tow your vehicle. We do not offer collision repair. We do not offer roadside services unrelated to EV charging (we will jump-start a dead 12V auxiliary battery on a stranded EV as part of the standard service, but this is not a general jump-start service).
3. Service area
We serve a 50-mile radius centered on Pasadena, California. Locations beyond 50 miles may be served on request at a custom-quoted price; call us before booking. The exact 29-city service list is published on our coverage page.
4. Booking and payment
Bookings are placed through our website (mobilechargepro.com) or by calling (626) 344-4084. To book online you must provide your name, phone number, email, service location, vehicle make and model, and current battery percentage.
Payment is captured at booking, before dispatch, via Square. We do not store your card details. Payment is required before the truck departs.
Booking creates an estimated time of arrival. The actual arrival time may vary based on traffic, weather, dispatch queue, and other factors outside our control. The ETA shown at booking is our best-effort estimate, not a guarantee.
5. Pricing
- Standard mobile charge: flat $175 starting price. Includes dispatch, on-scene charging, and a dead-12V jump-start if needed.
- After-hours surcharge: additional $50 for dispatches between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM Pacific Time, applied based on your estimated dispatch time.
- CCS1 connector: available on request, quoted at booking — not covered by the flat rate.
- Beyond 50-mile radius: custom quote required; call us.
Pricing on this page is authoritative. Prices shown elsewhere on the site mirror these constants and are updated together.
6. Refund policy
Payment is captured at booking. We refund only for our operational failures.
Refundable
- Truck breakdown preventing dispatch
- Generator or charger failure on scene
- Tech unable to dispatch
- ETA exceeded by 60+ minutes without notice
Non-refundable
- Vehicle won't accept charge (BMS lockout)
- Damaged charge port preventing connection
- Customer not on scene at ETA
- Customer cancels after dispatch
- Vehicle won't start due to non-charging fault
To request a refund, call us at (626) 344-4084. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to Square's processing timing.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel a booking at no charge before our truck dispatches. Once the truck dispatches, the booking is non-refundable per Section 6. To cancel, call (626) 344-4084.
8. Customer responsibilities
By booking, you confirm that:
- You are the vehicle's owner, lawful operator, or authorized to request service for it.
- The vehicle is at a safe, accessible location (legal parking, off active travel lanes, accessible by a full-size service truck).
- The information you provide about vehicle make, model, and battery state is accurate.
- You or an authorized adult will be present at the location during the appointment window unless you make alternate arrangements with us by phone.
- The vehicle is in a condition that can safely accept a standard charge. If a charge port is damaged or the vehicle's battery management system is in a fault state preventing charging, the booking is non-refundable (Section 6).
9. Communications about your booking
By booking and providing your phone number, you agree that Mobile Charge Pro may call or text you at that number about your booking. This covers booking details, ETA updates, and follow-up. There is no automated messaging program; Ed contacts customers directly from (626) 344-4084.
A confirmation email is sent automatically when your payment is processed. To stop further contact, tell Ed directly, reply asking us to stop, or call (626) 344-4084. Full details of how we handle your information are in our Privacy Policy.
10. Service limitations and disclaimers
Our charging equipment is portable generator-powered and delivers Level 2 AC charging speeds via NACS or J1772 connectors (CCS1 available on request). The amount of charge delivered is intended to safely reach a nearby charging station, not to fully recharge the vehicle. We do not represent that our equipment delivers DC fast-charging speeds.
Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis to the extent permitted by California law. Conditions outside our control — including weather, traffic, vehicle hardware faults, customer-side electrical issues, and acts of third parties — may affect our ability to dispatch, arrive on time, or successfully charge the vehicle.
Tesla, NACS, J1772, CCS1, and other connector and vehicle trademarks are the property of their respective owners. References to vehicle compatibility describe physical connector compatibility and are not endorsements.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Mobile Charge Pro's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the booking that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost time, towing costs, third-party repair costs, or alternative transportation costs. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law (for example, to claims for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by our negligence).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Mobile Charge Pro harmless from any claim arising from your inaccurate booking information, your failure to comply with these terms, your failure to comply with applicable law (including parking and traffic regulations at the service location), or damage to our equipment caused by the vehicle or by your actions or omissions. This section does not require you to indemnify us for our own negligence or willful misconduct.
13. Intellectual property
The website, brand marks, page content, and software are owned by Mobile Charge Pro or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the site without prior written permission, except as required for normal browser caching and personal use.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Where small claims court has jurisdiction, either party may bring a claim there.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated on this page; for substantial changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we will give advance notice on the site before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The unenforceable provision will be interpreted to reflect the parties' original intent to the maximum extent permitted by law.
