Last updated: June 7, 2026

This policy explains what information Mobile Charge Pro collects when you use our website or service, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have about your data. If anything here is unclear, call us at (626) 344-4084.

1. Who we are

Mobile Charge Pro is a 24/7 mobile electric vehicle charging service based in Pasadena,CA, operating within a 50-mile radius of Pasadena. Our website is mobilechargepro.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to dispatch service and follow up with you:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, and email address, provided when you book a service or contact us.
  • Service location — the street address or coordinates where you need charging, used to dispatch the truck and calculate ETA.
  • Vehicle information — make, model, battery percentage, and any notes you share so we bring the right connector.
  • Payment information — processed and stored by Square, our payment processor. We do not see or store your card number, CVV, or full PAN.
  • Usage data — pages you visit, your approximate region (from IP), device type, and how you found our site. Used for analytics and abuse prevention.
  • Contact consent — when you submit a booking you agree that Mobile Charge Pro may call or text you at the number you provide regarding your booking. We retain the timestamp of that agreement.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use our service or submit information; contact us if you believe a minor has done so and we will delete the data.

3. How we use your information

  • To dispatch a service truck to your location.
  • To calculate your estimated time of arrival and quote your price.
  • To process your payment via Square.
  • To send you a booking confirmation email and to contact you by call or text about your booking (see Section 5).
  • To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and bot traffic on our website.
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax records, accident reports if relevant).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for behavioral advertising. We do not share your information with marketing networks.

Where applicable, we process your information on the following bases: (a) to perform the service contract you initiated by booking; (b) where you have given consent — for example, agreeing to be contacted about your booking; (c) where required by law — for example, tax records; (d) for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

5. How we contact you about your booking

Automated email: When your booking payment is confirmed, we automatically send a confirmation email via Resend to the address you provided. This is the only automated message in our system.

Calls and texts from Ed: Ed — the owner and technician — may call or text you from his personal phone number, (626) 344-4084, to confirm details, give you an ETA update, or follow up after service. These are personal point-to-point communications, not automated or mass messages.

Your consent: When you submit a booking you agree that Mobile Charge Pro may call or text you at the number you provide regarding your booking. We collect a timestamp of that agreement.

To stop: If you do not want further calls or texts, tell Ed directly during any contact, reply asking us to stop, or call (626) 344-4084. We will not contact you about that booking again.

6. Sub-processors and third parties

We share information with the following service providers only as needed to operate:

  • Vercel — website hosting and analytics. Receives standard server request data (IP, user agent, page). vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Google Maps Platform — address autocomplete and distance/ETA calculation. Receives partial address strings as you type and the selected latitude/longitude. policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Mapbox — service-area map rendering on our coverage section. Used only for displaying the static map; does not receive user-identifying data from us. mapbox.com/legal/privacy.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g., booking confirmations). resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Sentry — error monitoring. Captures stack traces and request metadata from our servers when an error occurs. sentry.io/privacy.

We do not share your personal information with any party beyond these sub-processors except (a) when you direct us to (for example, when you ask us to coordinate with a tow company), (b) to comply with a valid legal request, or (c) as part of a corporate transaction in which case we will notify you.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use first-party analytics from Vercel (web analytics + speed insights) and may use Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage. These are configured to minimize personal data collection and we do not use them for cross-site behavioral advertising. We do not set advertising cookies. Your browser's Do Not Track signal is respected where the analytics provider honors it.

  • Booking records — retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Abandoned bookings — booking records where you started but did not complete payment are deleted after 24 hours by an automated daily process.

We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

To exercise any right, call us at (626) 344-4084 or write to us at the address in Section 12. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically 45 days under CCPA).

10. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures: TLS encryption in transit, at- rest encryption in our database, isolation between customer records via row-level security policies, and limited admin access secured with email magic-link authentication. We do not store payment card details — those are handled by Square under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance. Despite these measures, no online system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and applicable regulators if a breach affecting your data occurs.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated by updating the page; if changes substantively expand how we use your data, we will give you advance notice and, where required, ask for renewed consent.
